Apply to be an Ambassador
Fall 2024 applications are due Thursday, September 12, 2024
Purpose
ECE Student Ambassadors play an integral role in recruitment and admissions programs, alumni engagement, and division activities as a whole. We look to Student Ambassadors to assist with recruiting prospective students, engaging division alumni and donors, and showcasing all that ECE has to offer. Student Ambassadors serve as representatives of the division to a variety of constituents, thus requiring positive interactions and attitudes.
Membership
Ambassadors will be selected to serve as a strong link between the division and prospective students and alumni. All ECE students, whether undergraduate or graduate, have the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador. Members must be positive people who want to share their experiences with others. While being outgoing and friendly, members of the Ambassador program should remember they represent the University of Michigan and ECE and, in essence, they are recruiting the next incoming class or helping to connect alumni and donors with faculty and students in ECE. Members of this program must be sensitive to varying ages and cultures, and be able to communicate in a way that makes everyone feel included and comfortable.
