2022 ECE Career Fair Dates

ECE at the University of Michigan is committed to creating an outstanding learning experience for our students. When our students graduate, we want them to be the most prepared thinkers, innovators, problem solvers and leaders to enter the workforce. ECE is proud of not only our students and their accomplishments, but of the incredible business connections we have maintained with the companies who hire our graduates.
While the College of Engineering hosts a college-wide career fair each year, we consistently hear from alumni and employers that they were unable to meet with a large number of ECE students. As ECE fields transcend all realms of business and innovation, we have seen an increased demand for electrical and computer engineers from a wide range of companies and institutions. To assist with the successful recruitment of ECE students from University or Michigan, we host an annual Career Fair for ECE.

At the ECE Career Fair, you will meet undergraduate and graduate students focused in the following areas:

Cost
The in person career fair is $300 per company, and includes registration, parking, and lunch for two (2) representatives. Companies also have the option to join the virtual career fair at no extra charge.
The virtual career fair is $150 per company, with the option to join the in person career fair for an additional $150 ($300 total).
Registration
To register for one (or both) of the ECE Career fairs:
Registration for this event is currently available through Engineering Careers, by 12twenty, the new recruitment system for Michigan Engineering. Please click here to create your account. Note that as part of the account creation process you will receive a code to enter, it may take up to ten minutes for the code to be sent, please check your spam folder and let us know if you do not receive a code within ten minutes.
Once in your account, to register for the career fair please select ‘Events’ from the left menu, click on ‘Electrical and Computer Engineering Career Fair’, and then select ‘Register’ in the top right corner to complete the registration form. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been approved.
- When registering for the virtual fair, click “yes” to the question, ‘Would you like a dedicated schedule with time slots to meet with individual students?’. Responding ‘Yes’ will allow you to create virtual meeting schedules for this event.
The registration deadline for the ECE Career Fair by Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
