Wide range of entrepreneurial resources.  ECE faculty and students are the most innovative single group on campus. They publish patents, start companies, and are always on the lookout for positively impacting society with their innovations. The Center for Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial student groups will help you realize your most ambitious dreams.

Access to the world.  There is tremendous support within the department, as well as at the College of Engineering and University of Michigan for study abroad. Many of our students participate in interdisciplinary student teams and travel to countries to install solar power, wind power, or in other ways help communities. Michigan offers over 100 study abroad programs on 6 continents. – so get out of the lab and explore how far your impact in engineering can go!
