Quantum Science Seminar
Quantum Research Group: Planning Session
An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. At the meeting on September 13th, we will identify topics of interest and plan for coming semester. All faculty and students are welcome.
