Remembering Sky

Thank You Sky (2017 – 2024)

Spreading happiness wherever he went, Sky will be remembered fondly within ECE and beyond. Sky was a loving St. Bernard who became a conformation champion after competing in obedience, rally, and weight pulling. While he did all these things, his favorite thing was to see people.

Thanks to his faithful “Dad” and ECE alum Rob Hower, Sky has been visiting ECE since 2019 to help our students, faculty and staff de-stress during finals week. He not only supported the ECE community, but would volunteer at St. Joe’s Hospital as well. Everywhere he went he brought smiles to many people. Cheering everyone up was the highlight of his day. 

To all the people he made smile, you are what made him happy too. Rest in peace Sky. Thank you for sharing your smile and joy with us all.
