Professor Ulaby on 5G and Antenna Radar

Highly acclaimed Prof. Fawwaz Ulaby will be joining us for a two-part seminar. Part one will discuss the 5G communication standard expected to replace 4G by 2020. This discussion will include expected performance, new RF frequency allocations, and their implications in terms of infrastructure and cell-phone design. Part two will go over how array antennas work and their industrial applications, with an emphasis on how they can be used for smarter navigation in driverless cars.
