Nanoparticles and Biological Membranes: from the Basics of Interaction to Biomedical Applications

ABSTRACT:
The disruption of biological membranes (supported lipid bilayers and cells) by nanoparticles will be discussed. The design principles gained from these experiments will then be applied to nanoparticle-based targeted drug delivery agents.
