Adaptive Space-Time Codes for High Speed Wireless Communications

SHARE:

In this lecture we present a number of adaptive space-time coding techniques, which utilize channel state information at the transmitter. The transmitter either varies powers of individual transmit antennas or the active transmit antenna subset, according to the channel conditions. The error performance expressions for these adaptive systems were derived over an independent Rayleigh MIMO fading channel and verified by simulations.
Prof Branka Vucetic has held various research and academic positions in Yugoslavia,
Australia and UK. Since 1986 she has been with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Sydney University. She is currently the Head of School and the Director of the Telecommunications Laboratory.
