Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan is among the leading programs of its kind in the nation, and is home to 80+ faculty who teach, mentor, lead, and conduct remarkable research that addresses some of the world’s biggest challenges in areas such as power and energy, transportation, information security, and healthcare. Our research activity, which is supported by more than $53M annually in funding, is among the largest of any ECE program in the country.

THE ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING (ECE) Division of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor invites applications for junior or senior faculty positions, especially from women and under- represented minorities. 

Successful candidates will have a relevant doctorate or equivalent experience, and an outstanding record of achievement and impactful research in academics, industry and/ or at national laboratories. They will have a strong record or commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, to providing service to the university and profession, and to broadening the intellectual diversity of the ECE Division. Research in the Division spans from fundamentals to applications.
