Quantum Science Seminar

Research Group on Quantum Communication

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and students are welcome to attend.
At the meeting on March 28th, Yaoyun Shi will present the paper "complete Insecurity of Quantum Protocols for Classical Two-Party Computation" by H. Buhrman, et al. (arXiv:1201.0849)
