Research Group on Quantum Communication

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group (EECS & Math) has formed to study research problems in quantum information theory. We focus on problems in quantum communication. Specific goals include: (1) computing invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), (2) developing models for secure (private) communication, and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and graduate students are welcome to attend. At the meeting on February 8th, Xiaodi Wu will discuss the paper "the Hilbertian Tensor Norm and Entangled Two-Prover Games" by D. Dukaric. (arXiv:1008:1948)
