Quantum Science Seminar
Quantum Research Group Meeting
An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and students are welcome.
At the meeting on September 20th, Carl Miller will present the paper "robust Randomness Amplifiers: Upper and Lower Bounds" by M. Coudron et al. (arXiv:1305.6626)
