Quantum Science Seminar

Quantum Research Group Meeting

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and students are welcome to attend. At the meeting on June 13th, Carl Miller will present the paper "robustness of quantum randomness expansion protocols in the presence of noise" by P. Mironowicz and M. Pawlowski (arXiv:1305.0128).
