Mobile and Me

Sid returns to Michigan and this time will give his perspective on the mobile gaming space. The lecture will run about 30 minutes and will be followed by a short group participation mobile game design exercise and then Q&A. Sid will be available after the lecture for discussions.
U-M Computer Science alumnus Sid Meier is the developer of Civilization, Railroad Tycoon, Pirates!, and other highly influential, groundbreaking games. Sid is Founder and Director of Creative Development for Firaxis Games and is ranked 2nd in IGN's list of Top 100 Game Creators of All Time. In 2008, Sid received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Game Developer's Conference.
