Farewell Party for Farnam Jahanian

Join us as we gather for a special send-off for Farnam Jahanian as he departs for his next big gig as Vice President of Research at Carnegie Mellon University.

Farnam, the Edward S. Davidson Collegiate Professor of EECS, joined the faculty at Michigan in 1993 and served as CSE Chair from 2007-2011. He has been on leave to head the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Directorate at the National Science Foundation since 2011.

Farnam has had a huge impact on the Department and the field. We wish him the best in this next step of his professional journey!
