In recognition of Women’s History month, ECE will be holding a movie night to celebrate women and the impacts they have made in the world.

We will be screening the critically acclaimed blockbuster film, “Wonder Woman,” directed by Patty Jenkins. Immediately following the film, we will hold a short discussion (beginning at 8:15pm ET) on the movie’s history, cultural impact, and themes led by Hayley Hanway, our ECE Marketing Communications Specialist and ECE Committee member for an Inclusive Department.

Zoom details will be shared via email. This event is open to all ECE students, faculty, and staff.

About the movie:
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

You can find more information about the film on IMDB.
