“What makes the Engineering Program at UMich stand out is not only the cutting-edge technological resources available for students but also the hands-on experience you get working on some of the project-based classes here. One of my favorite examples is the ENGR-100 class I took freshman year. As a team, we created a circuit board from scratch and attached various types of sensors that we programmed and tested ourselves. At the end of the class, we attached it to a hot air balloon and sent it 60,000 feet in the air! We were able to gather various data on jet streams and all in all, it was a great experience.”
