BuddEEs for Undergraduate Students

The transition to college life poses numerous challenges for undergraduate students. Many students face difficulties in adapting to new academic expectations, social environments, and living on their own for the first time.

This program aims to provide:

  • Build Community: Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity within the Electrical Engineering undergraduate program.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Provide mentors with opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and community building/event planning skills.
  • Enhance Academic Success: Help mentees adjust to academic life through shared experiences and peer support from students who have completed introductory EE classes.
  • Foster Personal Development: Encourage personal growth and development by building confidence and self-awareness among mentees.
